Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To make the running pattern of an automobile during an endurance running test similar to a running pattern that is desired by calculating as road grade resistance the difference obtained by substracting the running resistance and inertia resistance from the torque of a chassis dynamo meter. CONSTITUTION:An automobile 11 that is set on a chassis dynamo meter 12 is driven substitutionally by making the load to the suction pipe of the automobile 11 and the speed of the chassis dynamo meter the same respectively as those recorded in running an actual automobile the value obtained by substracting running resistance and inertia distance from the car speed and torque of the chassis dynamo meter during the substitution driving is calculated as road grade resistance. Performing such calculation can make the running pattern of an automobile during endurance running test similar to a desired running pattern.
