DEFLECTION YOKE FOR PROJECTION TYPE TELEVISION

PURPOSE:To simplify a correction circuit for convergence error and subdeflection yoke and to regenerate a stabilized picture by correcting sufficiently a horizontal trapezoidal distortion, a arched distortion, and a horizontal linear variation of a raster occurring in a picture regenerated on the screen or by reducing an amount of correction. CONSTITUTION:A raster having a horizontal trapezoidal distortion and an arched distortion can be formed on the fluorescent screen of a CRT by using a vertical defrection coil 13. Thereby, the horizontal trapezoidal distortion which is generated by the inclination of a projection light axis to the screen, and the arched distortion in the central part of the screen which is generated when the screen forms a part of curved surface, are both cancelled at the same time, and a rectangular picture 17 can be obtained. Therefore, any convergence error on the screen caused by distortions mentioned above can be corrected.
