HEAT-SENSITIVE RECORDING PAPER

PURPOSE:To provide a heat-sensitive recording paper which produces a picture excellent in the concentration of color dynamically developed and the light resistance with an excellent color developing sensitivity by containing p-benzyloxy benzyl benzoate as color development promotor into a heat-sensitive recording layer combining a color developing material and a phenol compound. CONSTITUTION:When a colorless or light-colored color developing material such as cryatal biolet lactone and a phenol compound such as p-hydroxy benzyl benzoate are combined to form a heat-sensitive layer, for example, as color development promotor, p-benzyloxy benzyl benzoate is separately crushed in water with a ball mill or the like with a surface active agent and a binder. Thereafter, the mixture is applied on a supporting body and dried to obtain desired heat- sensitive recording paper.
