Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To simplify the input circuit of a digital communication equipment by obtaining a convertion circuit which has the functions of an equalizing and amplifying circuit, by utilizing the sum of output signals of two emitter follower circuits. CONSTITUTION:After the loss characteristics of a cable are compensated by a differential amplifying circuit composed of transistors (TR) Qa and Q2, a signal (a) arriving at an input terminal IN is amplified and then rectified into a signal (b) by an emitter follower circuit of TRs Q3 and Q4. A clock extracting circuit CL extracts a clock signal (c) from the signal (b), and a flip-flop FF operates according to the signal, so a unipolar signal (d) is outputted.
