Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To improve the gasification efficiency, by introducing fine particles scattered from a gasification furnace of fluidized bed to a high-temperature gasification furnace, burning it partially to give formed gases such as H2, CO, etc., feeding them to the gasification furnace of fluidized bed. CONSTITUTION:The granulated coal 1 is fed to the gasification furnace 13 of fluidized bed, and decomposed thermally to form char, tar, gas, etc. While, a gasifying agent comprising the steam 4 and oxygen is fed from the bottom of the gasification furnace 13 to it, the formed char is partially burned to give the gas 3 consisting essentially of CO2, CO, H2 and H2O. This formed gas 3 is exhausted from the top of the gasification furnace 13, introduced to the cyclone 14, the fine particle char 15 scattered together with the gas 3 is recovered, and it is fed to the high-temperature gasification furnace 12. The steam 4 and the oxygen or air 5 are fed to it, and the char is gasified at a temperature >= the melting point of the char 15. The formed gas 6 is fed to the feed position for coal of the gasification furnace 13, and ashes are recovered as the slag 8.
