Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To increase the mechanical strength of a heat absorption surface, by adding aluminum hydroxide, hydrated alumina or the like to a thin layer constituting material in forming a thin layer having a high absorptivity of solar heat over the surface of a base plate made of a material having a low heat emissivity. CONSTITUTION:A required heat absorption surface for use in a solar heat collector is obtained by constituting a base plate from a material having a low heat emissivity such as metals like aluminum, copper and stainless steel, and applying over the surface of the base plate a layer of a thin layer constituting material having a high absorptivity of solar heat that causes chemical change when it is heated. As the thin layer constituting material, a chemical substance such as a nitrate, chloride, acetate, hydroxide of iron, nickel, cobalt, chromium, manganese or the like is employed. Further, as a bonding force reinforcing substance for increasing the mechanical strength of the heat absorption surface, one or more of aluminum compounds such as aluminum hydroxide, aluminum oxyhydroxide, hydrated alumina are added therein.
