PRESSURE SENSITIVE RECORDING SHEET

PURPOSE:To provide the high quality low cost titled sheet having a scarecely colored back surface by providing a releasing layer containing a color former and a color developing agent in such a manner that at least one of both substances is encapsulated to the back surface of a support by one time coating in a non-aqueous system. CONSTITUTION:To the back surface of a support (e.g. a sheet like article such as a paper or a synthetic paper) 1, a hot melt paint prepared by adding both substances of a color former[e.g. 3,3-bis(p-dimethylaminophenyl)-6-dimethylphthalide (Crystal Violet lactone or the like)]and a color developing agent (e.g. multivalent metal salt of aromatic carboxylic acid or phenol aldehyde polymer) in such a manner that at least either one of both substances, pref. both of them, are encapsulated in waxes under a hot melt condition by one time coating or printing to form a releasing layer 2. The resulting pressure sensitive recording sheet is excellent in transfer efficiency and high quality color image 4 is obtained by pressurizing the same.
