Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To impart running water resistance to a resin emulsion, by blending a specified blocked isocyanate compd. and a water-soluble org. amine compd. with an aq. resin emulsion. CONSTITUTION:A urethane prepolymer (i) having at least two free NCO groups obtd. by reacting a polyisocyanate with a hydrophilic polyol prepolymer, is mixed with a blocking agent (ii) selected from phenol and a 1-10C alkyl-substd. phenol in such a proportion as to give an equivalent ratio of OH group of component (ii) NCO group of component (i) (OH/NCO) of 0.2-1.2. The mixture is reacted at 50-120 deg.C for 2-10hr to produce a blocked isocyanate compd. Then 0.05-5pts.wt. block isocyante and 0.01-5pts.wt. water-soluble org. amine compd. such as polyethyleneimine having an MW of 300-100,000 are blended with 100pts.wt. (on a solid basis) aq. resin emulsion such as polyvinyl acetate emulsion.
