DRIVING MECHANISM FOR TAPE RECORDER

PURPOSE:To ensure the operation with a simple constitution to make the device small-size, by controlling a head base and a pinch roller through a prescribed mechanism by the rotation of a pair of cams which are rotated and driven independently of each other. CONSTITUTION:Cams 12c and 13c are formed for gears 12 and 13 on the back of a chassis, and a cam follow lever 22 is provided correspondingly to this cams, and hooks 23 and 24, a connecting plate 20, etc. are engaged with this lever 22. In this constitution, in case of the cue operation, a solenoid 8 for right is excited, and a gear 4b and a gear 12c engage with each other, and the cam 12c is turned, and the lever 22 is displaced to the upper right. Therefore, the hook 23 is pulled up, and the connecting plate 20 and a pinch driving plate 21 are pulled up by a hook pawl 23b, and pinch roller 16a is brought into contact with the plate 21, and contat piece 30c presses a reproducing head base upward. Thus, the constitution is simplified, and the operation is ensured, and the device attains small-size.
