Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To easily push up a molten pool, and to obtain weld penetration by an arc up to the inside surface of a groove, by using a backing strip material of double structure having a conductive thin layer, on the surface of a non-conductive backing strip material, in case of one-surface welding. CONSTITUTION:On the whole surface of a cacking strip material 10 consisting of a non-conductive material and for forming a back waveform, a thin conductive layer 11 coated like double structure is used. The conductive layer 11 of the surface layer is obtained by binding metallic powder, a metallic chip, etc. by use of an adhesive agent or calcined them. Accordingly, the part of weld penetration due to heat of a molten pool 5 annihilates, and sufficient weld penetration of a groove wall 8 and a satisfactory back wave bead are obtained.
