OIL-WATER SEPARATOR

PURPOSE:To automatically separate oil from water containing oil without being influenced by tilting and vibrating a titled separator, by constituting the separator wherein a difference of levels between an exit port of water discharging pipe and an inlet port of oil discharging pipe is hardly changed, even when said separator is tilted. CONSTITUTION:An exit port 22 of water discharging pipe and an inlet port 31 of oil discharging pipe, having a level difference Halpha between both the port 22 and the port 31, are arranged closely to each other, at the central part of a water storage tank 1; a open port 61 of a water discharging cylinder 6, which covers the port 22, is set at the position sufficiently higher than a water level. So that the level difference Halpha is hardly changed even when the separator is tilted. Accordingly, only rhe oil contents are discharged from the port 31 when the separator is tilted. Further, the oil contents never enter the water discharging pipe 2 by tilting and oscillting the separaror because the port 61 of the cylinder 6 is s et sufficiently higher than the water level.
