Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain a feed having excellent palatability and resistant to collapse even after swelling, by adding a specific amount of corn starch converted to alpha-starch. CONSTITUTION:The objective health feed contains 45-60% corn starch converted to alpha-form. The feed can be fed e.g. to dog, cat, rabbit, hamster, rat, mouse, minuature pig, etc. The shape of the feed swollen with an aqueous mixture is usually a particle of 5-10mm. in radius or a rod of 5-20mm. in length. Addition of 1-5% adlay extract to the feed is effective to prevent the infectious diseases such as influenza. The feed can be canned or packed in a retort pouch by conventional method.
