Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To prevent a forced air-cooled engine from being cooled excessively by adjusting airflow in accordance with temperature of the engine, by applying themowax to a shutter at a cooling air intake of the engine. CONSTITUTION:A fan cover 6 of a forced air-cooled engine is provided with a cooling air intake 7, cooling air being sucked in by a cooling fan cools off the engine. Onto the outside circumference of the air intake 7, a shutter 11 is installed through a shaft 10 in such a manner as to be allowed to turn with freedom, and then, to be connected to this shutter 11 through a heat pipe 15 is a rod 13 of thermowax being connected to an exhaust hole 14 of the engine. By doing so, the intake 7 is closed by contraction of the rod 13 at the time when the engine has a low temperature, and therefore, an intake of the cooling air is to become able to be adjusted. |
