Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To broaden the blazed area of a broach blade for improved bonding strength by providing a base having a V-shaped cross section to the broach blade of a surface broach and fitting said base into a V-shaped groove of the broach proper for blazing. CONSTITUTION:A base 7 of a blade (tip) 6 made of a high speed tool steel is formed to have a V-shaped cross section. Multipe number of V-shaped groove 5 matching the shape of the base 7 are cut on the surface of a broach proper 4 of a steel material in parallel to each other in which the base 7 of the blade 6 is fitted and blazed thereby firmly bonding the blade 6 to the broach proper 4 to obtain an integrally formed surface broach.
