NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formulaI(A1 and A2 are lower alkylene chains; R1 is H, lower alkyl, lower alkenyl, lower aralkyl or lower alkylcabonyl;R2 is H, lower alkyl, lower alkenyl or lower aralkyl) and a salt of the acid. EXAMPLE:2,5-Dioxa-3-aminomethyl-isotwistane. USE:A medicine having the inhibitory action on influenza viruses. PROCESS:A diene compound is subjected to the Diels-Alder reaction with a dienophile to give a 2-oxa-bicyclo [2.2.1] heptene derivative, etc. The substituent group in the endo configuration of the resultant compound is used to carry out the crosslinking reaction and give the aimed tricyclic cage-like compound. The remaining substituent group is then converted into an amino or aminoalkyl group to afford the compound expressed by the fomula.
