FUEL GAUGE FOR VEHICLE

PURPOSE:To perform adequate displaying in both cases of during ordinary traveling or during feeding of oil by connecting filter circuits to be connected to between a liquid level change detecting part for fuel and a remaining amt. display part in such a way that the time constants change over in accordance with the opening and closing of a fuel filler lid. CONSTITUTION:A filter circuit of a small time constant is connected to between a liquid levl change detecting part for fuel and a remaining amt. display part in parallel with a filter circuit of a large time constant. A push button switch is provided on the vehicle body side of a fuel filler lid part, and this is connected to the filter circuit of a small time constant. For example, in a normal time, a filler lid 10 is held closed and therefore a switch 8 is off, and the fuel amt. is displayed through a filter circuit 3 of a large time constant and therefore there are no fluctuations in the display owing to the oscillation of the vehicle body. During feeding of oil, the lid 10 opens and the switch 8 closes to connect the circuit 3 and a filter circuit 7 of a small time constant in parallel, thus resulting in the small synthesized time constant and displaying the abrupt fluctuations in the liquid level quickly.
