MINIATURE PRINTER

PURPOSE:To obtain the miniature printer enabling two kinds of printing by a simple control circuit without a type wheel being enlarged by a method wherein a frame-body-shaped type part to be coated with red ink is provided in the type part of the type wheel and the shift of black- and red-ink rollers is conducted by a cam mechanism. CONSTITUTION:When the type wheel 5 starts to rotate through the electrification of a motor, the disc 108 of the red-ink roller 105 is in contact with cam part 6g of the flange part of a type-wheel block 6. Therefore, the red-ink roller 105 does contact with the type wheel 5, while the black-ink rollers 26 contacts with the type wheel 5 and applies black ink to printing types. When the frame- body-shaped type part 9b to be coated with red ink comes with the rotation of the type wheel 5, the disc 108 drops into the concave part 6e of the cam part and the type part 9b is coated with red ink by the red-ink roller 105. This frame-body-shaped type part 9b conduts printing of a negative number or a subtruction value in a place surrounding a figure printed by other type parts.
