COMPACT PRINTER

PURPOSE:To prevent the disconnecting failure of linking part, in a compact printer wherein a hammer is incorporated in a type wheel, by forming the specific inner protruded part in the type wheel so that it is shorter than the other protruded parts. CONSTITUTION:When the type wheel 4 is stopped at the position where a specified printing is performed by the command from a control circuit, a coil 31 of a selected plunger 34 is excited, a hammer 23 is advanced, a striking part 24 strikes a protruded part 10 of a type wheel 4, an elastic type belt 8 is extended so as to push paper 99 to a platten 76, and printing is performed. In the meantime, a protruded part 10A on the back side of a knob 12 which is the linking part of the type belt 8 is formed to be shorter than other protruded parts 10. Therefore, even though the strinking part 24 pushes the protruded part 10A by the erroneous striking of the hammer 23, the linking part is not disconnected.
