AUTOMATIC TRANSFER SYSTEM FOR PRIVATE BRANCH TELEPHONE SET

PURPOSE:To transfer a call to the nearest telephone set to a receiver at an incoming call, by registrating the presence at a branch in advance for the user of branch telephone and giving the user a sub-set with incoming call information and response function. CONSTITUTION:When a caller connected to the system through a main wire 20 dials an extension number, the dial is converted at an encoder 3 via a selector 1 and the data of receiver is transmitted with an infrared ray diode 6 of each block. If a receiver having a sub-set is present at the block A, the data from the diode 6 is received at a sub-set 7, the response signal of the receiver enters a decoder 13 via a block information code adder 9 and amplifier 12, the decoder 13 decodes the block information and the response signal, and the main wire is connected to a telephone set 17 of the block A via the selector 1, exchanger control circuit 15 and exchanger 16.
