EXAMPLE:2-(2,4-Dichlorophenyl)-1-(imidazol-1-yl)-3-phenylthio-2-propan ol.nitrate. USE:An antimycotic agent or agricultural fungicide. PROCESS:The compound of formulaIis prepared by reacting the epoxy derivative of formula II (novel substance) with an alkali metal salt of the thiol derivative of formula III (M is alkali metal) in a proper solvent as a temperature between room temperature and boiling point of the solvent.
