Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To prepare isobutylen oligomers rich in diisobutylene and tributylene, from isobutylene-containing hydrocarbons, in high yield, by using calcined tungstic heteropolyacid as a catalyst. CONSTITUTION:Isobutylene oligomers are prepared from isobutylene mixture[e.g. 4C hydrocarbons (spent BB fraction)]using a catalyst comprising a calcined tungstic heteropolyacid (e.g. 12-tungstophosphoric acid, 12-tungstosilicic acid, etc.) at a reaction temperature of 50-150 deg.C, esp. 100-140 deg.C. EFFECT:The catalyst can be reused. Since the reaction mixture does not corrode a stainless steel reaction apparatus, and the washing of the reaction products with alkali and water is not necessary, the product can be purified easily. USE:Raw material of high-octane gasoline, octylphenol, etc., solvent, etc.
