DATA PROCESSING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To simplify the control and also to reduce the cost of a device, by providing a pointer for concentration processing and a pointer for editing processing, on a data file, and independently executing the concentration processing and the editing processing. CONSTITUTION:A concentration processing circuit 41 executes concentration processing to data from an operating office. The data which has been concentration-processed is written in order until it reaches a storage place of an address stored in an editing pointer of a data file device 44' through an input/output controlling circuit 42. In this case, an address stored in a concentration pointer is updated at every write. On the other hand, data from the device 44' by an editing processing circuit 46 is read out through an input/output controlling circuit 45 until it reaches a storage place of an address stored in the concentration pointer. In this case, an address stored in the editing pointer is updated after readout. In this way, the concentration processing and the editing processing are executed independently.
