PROCESS FOR PREPARATION OF HYDROQUINONE

PURPOSE:Colorless hydroquinone is prepared by oxidizing p-diisopropylbenzene and by acid-decomposing the obtained p-diisopropylbenzenedihydroperoxide, and then by neutralizing the reaction product with a basic magnesium compound.
