Zusammenfassung:	1492917 Compositions for use in preparing ointments BAYER AG 14 May 1976 [17 May 1975] 20008/76 Heading A5B A granular or powdered composition for use in the preparation of ointments comprises an anionic crosslinked carboxyvinylpolymer of M.W. from 860,000 to 1,000,000 which is insoluble in water but which swells in water, and an alkaline substance, the polymer and/or the alkaline substance being coated with a lipophilic vehicle substance and/or with an emulsifier. Examples are given of ointments which contain boric acid sulphanilo thio carbamide, clotrimazol, menthol, procaine hydrochloride, heparinoid, sulphur and salicylic acid.
