Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a truck body from shaking laterally when returning from an entry stop position by allowing the self-traveling truck to move in temporarily ahead the stop position and then moving it back to the stop position and reversing the direction of the free wheel. SOLUTION: The self-traveling truck 1 stops temporarily after moving as shown by the arrow Y1 to the position where the center position 0' of a cradle 9 is at a predetermined distance S horizontally from the center position O of newspaper rolled paper P. At this position, the free wheel 7 faces back in the entry direction of the self-traveling truck 1. Then the self-traveling truck 19 is moved back as shown by the arrow Y2 by the distance S and then stopped. Simultaneously, respective free wheels 7 swivel on vertical axes because of friction to a travel path surface G to change the direction by 180 deg. and face as shown by the arrow Y1 . Then when the truck body 6 stops at a reception position, the cradle 9 is elevated to reload the newspaper rolled paper P onto the cradle 9 and then the truck body is moved back as shown by the arrow Y2 to return to right before a paper feed device 2.
