Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress electro-migration between a scan electrode and a maintaining electrode without lowering light emission luminance without applying a scan base pulse to an electrode group equivalent to a non-scan period during a writein discharge period, but by applying a compensative pulse voltage to it. SOLUTION: The scan electrode in a panel 130 is divided into first, second two scan electrode groups, and scan side maintaining pulse generators 101, 102 are connected to scan pulse generators 111, 112 in the respective groups. Then, in the first scan electrode group, a first write-in discharge period among the write-in discharge periods is made a scan period, and the scan base pulse is applied only in this first write-in discharge period ad further, a scan pulse is applied so as to superimpose on it. At this time, a compensative pulse is applied to the second scan electrode group so as to compensate a DC bias occurring in drive sequence. That is, in the second scan electrode group, this first write-in discharge period becomes a non-scan period. |
