Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for bleaching a discolored tooth by a titanium dioxide photocatalyst, excellent in safety and convenience, and capable of manifesting the activities against both of medullated and nonmedullated teeth in a short period. SOLUTION: This method for bleaching a discolored tooth comprises attaching a solution/paste of powder of titanium dioxide and hydrogen peroxide on the surface of the discolored tooth and irradiating the attached part with light to bleach the tooth based on a photocatalytic action caused by the light. The bleaching agent is the one for bleaching the discolored tooth based on the photocatalytic action caused by the light irradiation to the part, and contains the titanium dioxide causing photocatalytic action by the light irradiation in combination with the hydrogen peroxide as active ingredients. |
