RECOVERING METHOD OF PHOSPHORUS FROM SOLID MATERIAL CONTAINING PHOSPHORUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recovering method of phosphorus by which phosphorus can be recovered with high selectivity and high recovering rate from a phosphorus-contg. solid material such as incineration ash of sewage sludge. SOLUTION: After a phosphorus content is extracted from an incineration ash 8 with diluted sulfuric acid 9 and an insoluble content is separated, the diluted sulfuric acid containing phosphorus is brought into contact with a zirconium iron hydrated oxide granular material 3a having amphoteric ion exchanging property to adsorb the phosphorus content as phosphate ions to the granular material 3a. Then the granular material 3a is brought into contact with NaOH soln. to elute the phosphate ions into the NaOH soln. Then the NaOH soln. with eluted phosphate ions is recovered.
