Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging bag for a compressed item having an unsealing part in which an opening operation may easily be carried out and the item can be easily taken out through an opening part formed by unsealing operation. SOLUTION: A packaging bag 1 for compressed item having an unsealing part is made such that four side surfaces are formed by a pair of side surface gusset panels 4, a front panel section 2 and a rear panel section cooperating between a pair of side surface gusset panels 4. Upper and lower surfaces are formed by an upper panel 5 and a bottom panel having a hanger 7. The packaging bag for a compressed item of really puadratic prism with the compressed item being stored while its compressed surface is being faced against the side gusset panel 4 is formed with a first perforation 8 continuously passing from the front panel section 2 through the front panel 2 of the upper panel 5 and over the upper part of one of the side gusset panels 4.
