Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve discharge stability for ink drops at the time of high-frequency driving, by fixing a piezoelectric element of an ink-jet head to a substrate with an adhesive having elasticity. SOLUTION: An adhesive 14 used for bonding a piezoelectric element 12 and a substrate 11 has elasticity. When such a pulse-like driving waveform is applied after ink is filled in an ink liquid chamber that suddenly decreases a volume of a pressure liquid chamber 35 to discharge ink drops from a nozzle 38, the piezoelectric element 12 can be shifted efficiently in a minus direction. Accordingly, ink drops can be discharged stably without ink refill performance deteriorated even when a driving frequency is high. Further, since the volume of the pressure liquid chamber 35 is increased before the ink is filled, a volume change at the discharge of ink drops is enlarged, thereby enabling reduction of a driving voltage for the discharge of ink drops. |
