Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the carbon deposition of a heat exchanger and to avoid various troubles caused by the carbon deposition by welding plates and fins through a welding process for the plate fin type heat exchanger. SOLUTION: This fuel cell power generating system is constituted of a desulfurizer for removing the sulfur component contained in a hydrocarbon raw fuel, a reformer for reforming the desulfurized raw fuel into a gas abundant in hydrogen, a carbon monoxide transformer for reducing the concentration of the carbon monoxide acting as a poisoning material of a fuel cell main body, and a plate fin heat exchanger provided between the carbon monoxide transformer and the reformer and lowering the reformed gas temperature down to a prescribed temperature. Plates 10 and fins 1 of the heat exchanger are connected through a welding process such as resistance seam welding, instead of nickel blazing for example, thereby suppressing carbon deposition.
