ULTRASONIC LEVEL MEASURING EQUIPMENT FOR PRESSURE VESSEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic level measuring equipment for a pressure vessel which enables accurate and stable level indication and realizes the long life of equipment by excluding the influence of pressure change of measuring environment. SOLUTION: This equipment is an ultrasonic level measuring equipment for a pressure vessel which is additionally installed to a pressure vessel 1 for storing powder wherein powder is carried in the inside at an atmospheric pressure and sent out to a pressurizing vessel 2 at a constant positive pressure exceeding the atmospheric pressure, and consists of an ultrasonic level meter 5, a pipe channel 4 for transmitting and receiving ultrasonic waves, an isolation valve 9 for the level meter which propagates and cuts off the ultrasonic waves, and a measuring control means which opens the isolation valve 9 only when the inner pressure of the vessel 1 is maintained at a constant positive value and the powder is sent toward the vessel 2. In this case, the ultrasonic level meter 5 operates. In the other case, the measuring control means outputs a control signal for closing the valve 9 to stop the operation of the level meter 5.
