Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the detachment of an awning. SOLUTION: In the supporting structure of the awning pipe in an awning type automobile in which the upper part of the rear seat is opened and the awning pipe with turnably supported base parts by both sides of the vehicular body of this opened part is erected for extending the awning, the base end supporting parts of the awning pipe 7 is provided with an adjusting device 8 by which the end positions of the awning pipe 7 are movably constituted both in the extended stage for extending the awning 3 and in the contracted stage for collapsing the awning 3, and also is provided with a locking device for retaining the position of the awning pipe 7 in the extended stage of the awning pipe 7, so that the detachment of the awning can be facilitated.
