SOLUTION: An input drawing is read by a scanner 11 and converted into image data (picture data) and a storage means 12 is made to store these data. This storage means 12 also store data such as a graphic, character and so on from an input means 13. The data such as a graphic, character and the like are supplied to a display means 14 and displayed as the picture or the graphic. The picture and the graphic displayed on the display means 14 have their display controlled by a display control means 15. The picture displayed on the display means 14 has its structure analyzed by a structure analysis means 16. The structure analysis means 16 performs a structural analysis of a picture. The picture displayed on the display means 14 is selected by a selection means 17 and the picture is recognized by recognition means 17.
