ELECTROSTATIC COPYING AND PRINTING DEVICE HAVING ENDLESS RECORDING BELT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic copying and printing device constituted so that the service life and the printed result of an endless belt-like recording member becomes more excellent than those of a recording member guided only by a guide roller and provided with an air bearing. SOLUTION: Two belt supporting end parts 53 and 54 having fixed circumferential size are included in the air bearing 50. Then, the end parts 53 and 54 are arranged so that a supporting air cushion is formed in order to support both edge parts of an endless belt when the belt 26 is wound round the circumferences of the end parts 53 and 54 by being provided with an angle. An intermediate part 59 is positioned between the end parts 53 and 54 so as to support the belt 26 when the central part of the belt is apt to be excessively displaced in the inside direction of the bearing 50. Besides, two air cushion elimination parts 60 and 61 are positioned by being adjacent to the insides of the end parts of the corresponding bearing 50 and provided with the smaller circumferential size than that of the end parts 53 and 54.
