Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon-incorporated pellet capable of promoting the reduction reaction of iron oxide, and a reduced iron manufacturing method excellent in productivity by using the carbon-incorporated pellet. SOLUTION: The carbon-incorporated pellet consists of carbon and iron oxide, and the reduction reaction of iron oxide can be promoted by using the carbon-incorporated pellet of >=0.4 (preferably, >=0.8) in the maximum fluidity when the carbon material is softened and melted. Because the carbon- incorporated pellet is excellent in heat conductivity, the productivity is improved if reduced iron is manufactured by using the pellet. |
