Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame retardant resin composition having high resistance to NOx and suitable as a material for various products. SOLUTION: The flame retardant composition comprises an olefin-based resin mainly composed of an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer having a density of not greater than 0.89 g/cm and a melt index of 0.5-10 g/10 min, a surface treated magnesium hydroxide and an antioxidant containing a phosphorus-based antioxidant. It is preferred that the ethylene-α-olefin copolymer is obtained by using geometrically restraint catalyst containing a metallocene compound; that the surface treatment has been conducted by using at least one member selected from among a higher fatty acid, a metal salt of a higher fatty acid, a phosphoric acid ester, an anionic surfactant, a silane coupling agent, a titanate coupling agent and an aluminate coupling agent; and that 0.01-2 pts.wt. antioxidant are incorporated into 100 pts.wt. composition comprising 20-80 wt.% olefin- based resin and 80-20 wt.% magnesium hydroxide. |
