Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an ultrasonic endoscope balloon to be uniformly bulged. SOLUTION: The mold for molding a balloon comprises a substantially elliptical balloon molding part 1, and columnar winding-up part molding parts 2, 3 connected to both ends of the part 2 in a long axis direction. In this case, a chamfered part is provided at an end A of the lower part 3. A chamfered size of the chamfered part is 0.02 to 0.4 mm. And, a chamfering angle is set to 100 to 135 deg.. Further, the method for manufacturing the balloon comprises the steps of dipping the mold for molding the balloon from the end of the lower winding-up part molding part in rubber latex, then lifting it to form a rubber film on a surface of the mold, thereafter, dipping the end of the mold in water, removing the rubber film at the end of the mold, then drying it, and winding up the rubber film formed at the winding-up part molding part to the end of the balloon molding part.
