Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assay a microorganism rapidly, simply and in high sensitivity, by filtering a microorganism-containing specimen liquid to collect the microorganism on a filtration film, extracting its biological component, adding an ATP conversion reaction reagent and a biologically luminous reagent to the component and measuring luminescence. SOLUTION: A microorganism-containing specimen liquid is filtered by a filtration film and the microorganism in the specimen liquid is collected on the filtration film. A biological component (e.g. adenosinetriphosphate) in the microorganism is extracted and mixed with an ATP conversion reaction reagent containing pyruvate orthophosphate dikinase, pyrophosphoric acid and magnesium ion or another metal ion and with a biologically luminous reagent containing magnesium ion or another metal ion, luciferin and luciferase. Luminescence formed on the filtration film is measured to assay a microorganism in water, a raw material, an intermediate, a product, etc., important in control in the field of various industries, clinical medicine, basic research, etc., rapidly, simply and in high yield. |
