PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a brush device which restrains an abnormal sound generated due to the vibration of a brush, by a method wherein a vibration absorption mechanism is fixed to the brush so as to be movable. SOLUTION: When a brush 13 is slid with a commutator C so as to be subjected to a frictional force, the brush 13 is vibrated when the frictional force is increased. At this time, since a weight 14a as a moving part in a vibration absorption mechanism 14 is fixed to the brush 13 so as to be movable, the weight 14a is moved together when the brush 13 is vibrated. At this time, a pressure sensitive adhesive 14b as an energy conversion part which is interposed between the brush 13 and the weight 14a is deformed, and heat energy is discharged. That is to say, when the weight 14a is vibrated while it is being dislocated with reference to the brush 13, the vibration energy of the brush 13 is absorbed. As a result, the vibration of the brush 13 is converged, and a noise which is generated due to its vibration is prevented.
