Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a serial system compensation apparatus in which a voltage is inserted in series with a system line, which can be miniaturized, which is made low-cost and whose life can be prolonged. SOLUTION: A three-phase input/three-phase output 24-arm AC/AC direct link-type conversion circuit 5 is installed across a system power supply 1 and a load 3. Three-phase AC voltages which are supplied from the system power supply 1 are converted individually into three-phase AC voltages whose amplitude, phase and frequency are arbitrary, and they are inserted into a system line via a serial transformer 2. Thereby, a large and high cost DC intermediate circuit as in conventional cases is not required.
