Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable decreasing in wire off ratio at DC feeder section running time with a simple constitution using present articles, in the case of dividing a main transformer into two sets or more according to high output generation of an AC-DC dual current electric vehicle. SOLUTION: In this electric vehicle, when AC power is discriminated in AC-DC discrimination means 16, 17, a DC circuit connection means 18 is opened by a switch control means 23, and when DC power is discriminated in the AC-DC discrimination means, the DC circuit connection means 18 is closed by the switch control means 23, so that respective DC circuit parts of a plurality of control devices 20a, 20b are connected to each other. In this way, during a running in a DC feeder section, even in the case of generating wire-off in collectors 1a, 1b in any of the control devices from DC circuit parts 6a, 6b in the other control device without generating wire-off, second power converters 8a, 8b are accommodated with power, so that power running can be continued in a second power converter of control device generating wire-off.
