PLANAR HEATER AND MOUNTING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar heater having its superior heating efficiency capable of maintaining a state in which the heater is in intimate contact with a heated material and a mounting method of that planer heater with low cost. SOLUTION: In this planer heater, a heating element 2 is disposed on a base film or base sheet 1 in which wire stripe bodies 1b, 1b with their two or more stripes are integrated in a substantially parallel disposition. At least one area of a rectangle formed with the wire stripe bodies 1b, 1b being 2 sides is greater than that of the heating element 2. In mounting method thereof, this planar heater in which a linear rigid material is employed as the wire stripe bodies 1b, 1b, is brought into intimate contact with a heated tubular material, mounted, and fixed while a stress in a direction in which an interval between the wire stripe bodies disposed in substantial parallel is pushed and widened by an elastic mounting bracket is applied. In addition, this planar heater in which a plastics is employed as the wire stripe bodies 1b, 1b is intimately contacted by deforming the plastics in accordance with a shape of the heated tubular material, mounted, and fixed while the interval between the wire stripe bodies disposed in substantial parallel is pushed and widened by the elastic mounting bracket is applied.
