DISK RECORDING AND REPRODUCING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk recording and reproducing device which is capable of making recording in a prescribed region, automatically forms a disk name or track name and records the same in the prescribed region. SOLUTION: The track name is formed by adding the date and time data from a built-in timepiece to the already inputted disk name or the fixed pattern (data) already possessed by a ROM and is recorded on a disk. The track name is otherwise formed by adding the track number data of the track recorded on the disk in place of the date and time data. The track name of Fig. (3) is formed by adding the date and time data from the built-in timepiece to the fixed pattern (data) already possessed by the ROM. The disk name is formed by adding the variable data (disk number data) written into a nonvolatile memory in place of the date and time data and the contents of the variable data recorded in the nonvolatile memory is updated.
