Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject compound of the E-configuration that has higher plant disease-controlling activity than the other isomer by allowing a specific chlorine-containing compound to act on the Z-isomer of a specific compound in a specific solvent to cause isomerization. SOLUTION: A chlorine-containing compound that is acidic in water as hydrogen chloride is allowed to act on an N-methylamide derivative of formula I (R and R are each H or the like; X is CH or the like), typically S- 2-[(Z)-a- methoxyimino-α-(N-methylcarbamoyl)]methyl} phenylmethyl-S-methyl-N-(4- ethylphenyl)dithiocarbonimide in a solvent free from hydroxyl group as toluene or the like at -10-10 deg.C for 5-24 hours to isomerize to a dithiocarbonimide derivative of formula II, typically S 2-[(E)-α-methoxyimino-α-(N- methylcarbamoyl)]methyl}phenyl-methyl-S-methyl-N-(4-ethylphenyl) dithiocarbonimide whereby the objective compound is obtained. |
