Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for repairing a moving handrail of a passenger conveyor, by which repairing of a canvas separated part can be easily performed. SOLUTION: In a moving handrail of a passenger conveyor, in which a plurality of canvas layers are bonded and fixed on the back surface of decorative rubber and the section is formed into a U shape, a moving handrail is turned over in a procedure S1 so that the canvas separated part faces upward when the canvas layer is partially separated, the canvas separated part is heated in a procedure S5, adhesive to be melted at the specified temperature is filled in a procedure S6 to the canvas separated part, a coating body having the low fictional resistance is loaded in a procedure S7 on the front surface of the adhesive, and the coating body is heated and pressure welded in a procedure S8 at the temperature in which adhesive can be melted. Accordingly, repairing work of the canvas separated part can be performed in a short time, and the non-operating time of a passenger conveyor in repairing work can be shortened.
