PILOT LADDER MOVING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving device of a pilot ladder which is not interfered with a conventional traveling loader conveyor and does not require any change of the standard at the time when the cargo handling operation of a large ship is performed. SOLUTION: A pilot ladder moving device 1 is provided with a ladder body 3, a davit 5a and a ladder rest 5b arranged on an upper deck, a pilot ladder 2 having a hoist 6 to wind up a rope 4 connected to the ladder body 3 through the davit 5a in storage and deliver the rope in use, a moving body 7 provided on an upper landing 3a of the ladder body 3, a moving body provided on a lower part of the ladder rest 5b, guide rails 10, 11 provided on the upper deck corresponding to the moving bodies 7, 8 to guide the moving bodies 7, 8 from the ship side to the center line side of a hull, and a hydraulic cylinder 12 to horizontally move the moving bodies 7, 8.
