PRODUCTION OF VINYL CHLORIDE-BASED POLYMER
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a vinyl chloride based polymer hardly causing fisheyes in a molded product. SOLUTION: Three kinds of (A) a partially saponified polyvinyl alcohol having >=85 mol.% saponification degree and 2-20 cP viscosity of a 4 wt.% aqueous solution ther...

Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a vinyl chloride based polymer hardly causing fisheyes in a molded product. SOLUTION: Three kinds of (A) a partially saponified polyvinyl alcohol having >=85 mol.% saponification degree and 2-20 cP viscosity of a 4 wt.% aqueous solution thereof at 20 deg.C, (B) a partially saponified polyvinyl alcohol having 70-85 mol.% saponification degree and 20-60 cP viscosity of a 4 wt.% aqueous solution thereof at 20 deg.C and (C) a partially saponified polyvinyl alcohol having 20-60 mol.% saponification degree and 2-7 cP viscosity of a solution prepared by dissolving thereof in an amount to afford 4 wt.% in a mixed solvent of water-ethanol at 1: 1 volume ratio at 20 deg.C are used together as a dispersing agent in a method for producing a vinyl chloride-based polymer comprising carrying out the suspension polymerization of a mixture composed of vinyl chloride monomer or the vinyl chloride monomer and monomers copolymerizable therewith in the presence of the dispersing agent in an aqueous medium. |
