ELEVATOR FOR BUILDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building elevator that is easily accessible through each floor even in a building having a plurality of floors different in height. SOLUTION: A lifting stage 10 is liftably set up in an elevator body 6, installing a lifting mechanism 11 making this lifting stage 10 go up and down, and a first doorway 7 accessible from a first floor and a second doorway 8 accessible from a second floor are installed there, respectively. The lifting mechanism 11 makes the lifting stage 10 go up and down in an interval between both lower end positions of these first and second doorways. With the lifting stage 10 lifted up or down by the lifting mechanism 11, a user is accessible to or from the elevator body 6 without getting over a level difference lying between these two floors.
