Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a submarine control device for a seat whose comfortable riding performance is effectively compatible with submarine phenomenon preventive performance. SOLUTION: A submarine control device for a seat is arranged within a seat cushion in order to restrain the occurrence of a submarine phenomenon. It is equipped with a movable plate 11 capable of being moved up and down within a specified stroke, and is so formed in such a way as to be moved up and down by making used of the tension of a seat belt. This movable plate 11 is mounted within a casing 12 in such a way that it can be slid up and down, and concurrently it is moved up by a specified stroke with a crank mechanism. And it is also equipped with a stopper holding the movable plate 11 at an elevated position. When it is normally operated, the movable plate 11 is housed in the casing 12, and it is set at a specified position in height so as to be disposed at the time of collision or the like, so that its high preventive effect against a submarine phenomenon can be obtained.
